Why we built it
We know how hard it can be to find your way into film. We’ve been there. That’s where we started.
We were told to get more experience, build more credits and make more connections, without always being given a real chance to do any of those things.
The path can feel confusing, especially when opportunities depend on who you know, where you live or whether you can afford to keep working for free.
That’s why we built Razor Bear Films.
We wanted to create a place where people can learn by doing, build confidence through real experience and grow alongside filmmakers who genuinely want to see each other succeed.
A place where emerging cast and crew can ask questions, make mistakes, practise their craft and understand how professional productions really work. Where opportunities are explained clearly, expectations are fair and people are supported to take on greater responsibility as their skills grow.
Because building a career in film should not feel like trying to enter a locked room with no visible door.
We may not be able to change the whole industry overnight. But we can build our corner of it differently.
